Cheer, Cheer for old Notre Dame

On Saturday we went to a football game at Notre Dame. We've both wanted to go to one for a while - and we actually stopped at the university a few years ago on our way back from Chicago during Christmas break. Northeastern is definitely not a "football school," and we thought it would be cool to experience the atmosphere of one. We had a great time, glad we went!

Coulter tailgating before the game:)

Example #1 of why ND's band is better than NU's - they play to a huge crowd on the library steps an hour before the game. Oh, and they sound *really* good.

Momma, Coulter and Touchdown Jesus - the first of many pics all weekend where Cole is looking elsewhere.

No Momma, I want to watch football, not take a picture!

Not looking at the field, but not looking at the camera either:)

Example #2 - spelling "Irish"

Example #3 - spelling ND

Cole's toothbrush can keep him entertained in any situation!

After the game started and we were all squished in on wooden bleachers, Cole only made it about 20 more minutes. We had been up in our seats for a good hour or so watching the pre-game festivities and all. We went down and Kev watched the rest of the first half. Then we all left and played a bit before starting our drive to Milwaukee.
